Meet Allie Hojnik
Endorsed Midwife & Childbirth Educator
I’m Allie, an Endorsed Midwife passionate about providing accessible, compassionate care to new mothers and their babies. My midwifery journey began as an undergraduate degree before medicine, but after a decade of witnessing the incredible strength of women in birth, I knew this was my true calling. To better serve women and families, I completed my endorsement to work beyond the traditional hospital system, making me Medicare-eligible.
Now, I run the Mums & Bubs Drop-In Clinic at Maia Mothers Collective, offering support for new mothers in those tender first weeks postpartum. My goal is to ensure families feel informed, supported, and confident in their journey, while also addressing the high rates of birth trauma in Australia through The Good Birth.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me in my vegetable garden, fostering kittens, or continuing my journey of learning Slovenian—thanks to my husband, Tim!
