Let’s be real—motherhood can be a wild ride. One minute you’re soaking in newborn snuggles, the next you’re wondering if you’ll ever get a full night’s sleep again. And while everyone tells you to “enjoy every moment,” no one really talks about how lonely, overwhelming, and exhausting it can feel.
That’s why we started Maia Mothers Groups back in 2021—because motherhood was never meant to be done alone. You need a space where you can be honest, where you don’t have to pretend you’ve got it all together, where you can say “this is really hard” and be met with a knowing nod instead of unhelpful advice.
And second, third, fourth-time mamas—we see you too. This isn’t just for first-timers navigating the unknown. You’re in the thick of it, juggling bigger kids, newborn wake-ups, and the never-ending mental load. You need connection just as much.
You need a space to breathe, to be heard, and to remind yourself that you’re not just a mum—you’re you.
What’s included…
Our Mothers Group runs for 10 weeks per term, with weekly meet-ups from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm. Each session is led by an expert who covers key topics to help you navigate this transformative season of motherhood with confidence—topics range from pelvic floor health postpartum to feeding, mum rage, and more.
The space is set up for safe baby movement with soft mats, toys, and pillows. Roam with your little one as they play or sit back and watch. There’s also room for prams if your baby needs to nap.

Emma, Owner + Director of Maia Mothers, has thoughtfully designed the Mothers Group with a deep understanding of the challenges and joys that come with motherhood. Her own journey has shaped this space, ensuring it’s a place where mums feel seen, heard, and supported through shared experiences.
Having been part of the Mothers Group since its inception (attending with her daughter Elkie, now 4, and again with her second daughter Ruby), Emma has experienced firsthand the power of community in navigating the complexities of motherhood. As a Clinical Nutritionist, Mindset Coach, and mother herself, she truly understands the importance of community in supporting mothers.

Most babies are between 6 weeks and 6 months old, but babies outside this range are still welcome to join.

No, anyone is welcome as long as it's within a comfortable driving distance for you.

Absolutely! We love twin mums and have had many join in the past.

Not at all! We’ve set up the space to be safe for your little one to explore. You’re welcome to roam with them or watch from a distance—it's completely up to you.

That’s totally normal in Mothers Group! The other mums around you will understand, and our facilitators are always there to offer support if needed.
