Maia Women's Circle - September 1st 2025 - Ostara / Spring Equinox
Maia Women’s Circles - a space for deep connection, personal growth and celebration of the natural rhythms of life. Drawing from the Wheel of the Year and Inner Seasons, these gatherings offer women the chance to unite, reflect and support one another on a journey of transformation.
Wheel of the Year celebrations are Celtic/Pagan Festivals that celebrate the changing of the seasons - helping us to align ourselves with the natural world.
Ostara is the festival that celebrates the Spring Equinox - where day and night are of equal length - Winter is over but Summer is still to come - allowing us to reflect on & cultivate balance in our own lives. A perfect time for cleansing & releasing things that no longer serve us before we move ahead into longer, warmer days ahead. As the natural world is flourishing, the Spring Equinox celebrates growth, abundance, fertility & rebirth.
The Christian celebration of Easter finds many of its roots from Ostara - such as the themes of rebirth & resurrection, and the symbols of eggs & rabbits as signs of new life & fertility.
